Official Administrative Authority & Governance

All border control operations, visa evaluations, foreign worker clearances, and entry permissions within the Federated States of Micronesia are governed by the Department of Justice (DOJ) under the Division of Immigration and Labor. Foreign nationals are subject to national immigration laws set forth under FSM Title 50 (Immigration Code) and administered from national headquarters in Palikir, Pohnpei.

Important Travel Advisory — Passport Validity & Onward Travel

All foreign visitors entering the Federated States of Micronesia must possess a passport valid for at least 120 days beyond the date of entry, along with proof of onward or return travel.
